Terrie Hayden - RE/MAX Destiny | 617-283-9823 | Terrie.Hayden@gmail.com

Terrie Hayden prides herself on truly getting to know her clients –  listening to and honing in on their most pressing needs to strategically guide them through one of life’s most stressful experiences. As a seller’s representative, her personalized approach includes artfully staging properties and leveraging her network of experienced resources, including a professional photographer and floor planner, to quickly and expertly get the property ready to move. As another demonstration of Terrie’s personalized touch, she sends clients to her second home on Cape Cod in New Seabury during the first weekend their homes go on the market so they can relax after a hectic week. As a buyers’ representative, Terrie’s been known to commemorate special moments with Pandora charms: a bicycle charm for a couple who bought their first condo on the Minuteman Bike Trail; a stack of books for two school teachers who married and bought their first home; and a family charm for a family who sold their Somerville condo and found a two-family house so that her mother could live on the first floor. With a unique combination of resourcefulness, deep market knowledge and a warm and engaging personality, Terrie has a growing network of more than 350 satisfied clients.

Adding to her client record and lasting relationships is an impressive list of real estate credentials and experience. After 11 years in Real Estate Management, Terrie began her sales career in 2002. She is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), a qualification held by just 10% of all Realtors, and also an Accredited Buyer’s Agent. She successfully navigated clients through the downturn in 2008, and has also guided buyers and sellers through the recent multiple-offer seller’s market. Terrie specializes in Cambridge, Somerville, and adjoining towns and is proud to have been the primary listing agent for "Union Place,” once a former junkyard, now a vibrant gateway on Webster Avenue and Norfolk Street in Somerville on the Cambridge line.

Terrie lives in Cambridge with her husband of 19 years, Bill Hayden, who has been in the funeral business for more than 40 years. She often jokes that while she helps people into their first home, he helps them into their last! When she is not working, Terrie relaxes with her favorite music, slow cooking, basket making, interior design, fitness, loving their dog and cat, and spending leisure time on Cape Cod, California and Florida. She is also keenly interested in the Tiny House movement, so she and her husband bought a 455sf studio to renovate and try small living at the end of 2016.
